Anti-wrinkle Treatment
Most people are familiar with Botox™ which is a brand name and is only one of the four types of anti-wrinkle agents. Anti-wrinkle agents are collectively called neurmodulators. At FarmHouse Aesthetics, we carry three of the four types of neuromodulators which are Xeomin, Dysport, and Botox.
Neuromodulators are used to help soften and smooth fine lines and wrinkles that develop over time. Wrinkles that we begin to see as we age can sometimes make us feel as though we look old than we are, more tired or even angry. Anti-wrinkle agents are used to decrease the contraction of the muscles that we use to make certain expressions like squinting, frowning and making an angry face. Over time, these normal expressions can cause the undesired wrinkles.. The treatment to help relax the wrinkles is a non-surgical procedure that is accomplished with minimal pain and no downtime. The treatment is used to help relax or can sometimes even prevent the wrinkles which may in turn help you have a more youthful appearance.
To reduce the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles and creases, we offer Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport. Each treatment targets the muscles that contract frequently every time you squint or frown by relaxing the muscle and temporarily "time out" the muscle.

How Long Does It Often Take For Botox, Dysport, Or Xeomin To Work?
In 2-4 days, Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin will begin to work, reaching its peak on day 14.
How soon may I use makeup, skincare products, or sunscreen after getting anti-wrinkle injections?
You may apply sunscreen, skincare products, and cosmetics after your treatment, but refrain from exerting too much pressure.
What Potential Adverse Effects Might There Be From My Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?
Around the injection site, there could be a few little lumps. They normally only last a few hours, but not more than fifteen minutes.
Although uncommon, some edema and bruising may occur. Vein finders are used by Beautiphi to lessen the chance of bruising.
Some people may get headaches following the injections. You can take over-the-counter painkillers as necessary.
What should I stay away from after receiving treatments with Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin?
Do not massage or press on the treatment area for at least 24 hours.
Don't take a shower, a sauna, or a workout.
For at least two weeks after receiving injections, patients should refrain from getting facial massages, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, peel procedures, etc.
If you received treatment in the forehead or frown line region, avoid wearing caps, headbands, or anything else constricting on your head for 24 hours.
On the day before treatment, you may wash your face as usual, but avoid massaging or using harsh exfoliants or scrubs.
